Rusty Walker is the
President of Absolute Logistics. He has 27 years experience in
the warehousing, handling and distribution of numerous products and
commodities. Mr. Walker's career began in 1982 with Nexus Distribution in
Schaumburg, Illinois. There, he gained hands-on experience in the handling,
storage and delivery of paper products throughout the greater Chicago land
area. As a part owner of Nexus Warehouse, he was instrumental in building
Nexus as a major handler of paper and an innovator in data system management of
paper products.
In 1990, Mr. Walker took a
position in Denver, Colorado, with the Transportation Service Systems, Inc. (TSSI),
a subsidiary of the Southern Pacific Railroad, becoming Vice
President and General Manager. In this position, he was responsible for
the warehousing, distribution and tranloading of goods in the Southern Pacific's
15 state territory. He managed thirteen third party
warehouse facilities that handled newsprint, printing paper, linerboard, lumber,
panel products, iron and steel products, canned goods and bulk commodities.
Mr. Walker left TSSI and has refined
distribution concepts that have resulted in the commodity specific Absolute
Logistics Programs.
DAVID W. KERBER
Dave Kerber is
the Chief Executive Officer of Absolute Logistics. He graduated form the
Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and obtained a law degree form
Duke University. He also received a Masters of Law degree in Labor Law
from George Washington University in 1980.
After Mr. Kerber left the Air Force, he
joined a major law firm in Denver, Colorado. There he specialized in labor
and human resource issues relating to complex mergers and acquisitions. He
also assisted clients in the strategic development of their businesses as well
as the purchase and sale of corporate entities.
In 1997, Mr. Kerber joined forces with
Rusty Walker to create Absolute Logistics. Mr. Kerber concentrates on
complex supply chain solutions, information technology, and financial and legal
issues for the company.
Edward L. Pajor
Ed Pajor is Vice President
of Operations for Absolute Logistics. He has over 30 years experience in transportation,
including railroad marketing/management, warehousing, the mining industry and third
party logistics. Prior to joining Absolute Logistics, Mr. Pajor was the Director of
Transportation for Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold and managed their global transportation
including rail, truck and ocean shipments as well as warehousing. Ed was also the Director
of Transportation for Phelps Dodge Corporation and prior to that time was responsible for
North American Transportation for BHP Copper in Tucson, AZ.
Mr. Pajor held the position of Vice President
Marketing & Sales for Southern Pacific’s logistics arm Transportation Service Systems, Inc.
where he joined forces with Mr. Walker and negotiated contracts with Southern Pacific customers
to increase market share using the rail/truck/warehouse concept.
Ed also held various positions of increasing
responsibility working for Soo Line Railroad where he was Assistant Vice President of Forest Products.
Mr. Pajor has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Illinois
University with a comprehensive major in Marketing, a Traffic and Transportation Degree from LaSalle Extension
University, and participated in the management leadership program at BHP/Magma Copper.
