- Negotiate with all major and short line rail carriers to obtain the best pricing;
- Negotiate pricing and arrange services with quality warehouse operators who can receive shipments by rail;
- Negotiate and arrange local truck shipping to the end user;
- Order the appropriate cars to the shipping point;
- Track the rail cars to assure they arrive at their destination in a timely manner;
- Assure that the cars arrive at the proper destination;
- Assure that freight is being handled appropriately at any warehouse destination;
- Receive and pay rail, warehouse and truck invoices and resolve any billing issues;
- Invoice the customer with the correct bill for all previously agreed to services at the previously agreed rate correct each and every time.
